SHIMLA : Shimla, also known as Simla, is the capital city of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The city is up in the mountains at around 2,200 metres (approximately 7,234 feet). The colonial architecture and churches, the temples, and the natural environment of the city attracts tourists. Major city centre’s attractions include the Shri Hanuman Jakhu (Statue), Jakhu Temple, Viceregal Lodge, Christ Church, Mall Road, The Ridge and Annadale. The city centre’s northern most point is Jakhoo and the southern most location is Annadale, and the easternmost point is Sanjauli and western point is Chotta Shimla. The Kalka–Shimla Railway line built by the British, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also a major tourist attraction. Kufri is a small hill station in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh state in India. It is located 20 km from the state capital Shimla on the National Highway . It is the starting point of treks to Fagu, Shimla, Manali and Rewalsar. Kufri, along with Chail and Shimla forms the famous Golden Triangle of Himachal Pradesh. Yearly winter sports festival is held here in February, which is a major attraction for the tourists.
MANALI : Manali is a town in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh Nestled in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh, Manali is one of the oldest hill stations in India perched at the height of 6,725 ft. The place is dotted with beautiful forests, snow-capped mountains and sylvan surroundings. With a lot of opportunities for trekking and rafting, Manali also makes for the perfect adventure destination. Hidimba Devi Temple , Rohtang Pass , Solang Valley , Kullu Manali , Manikaran , Manu Mandir , Vashisth Kund are very famous places . Snow melts during the summer months starting May and skiing is then replaced by zorbing ,paragliding, parachuting and horse riding.
